Shireen Lai is based in Singapore. She is married to Francis Lai. Shireen & Francis first came into the love and revelation of the Father when they met James & Denise Jordon at an A school in Penang, Malaysia in July 2008. This revelation of the Father and especially that of sonship which James & Denise carry, has so deeply transformed their understanding and experience of God that it has impacted all aspects of their lives.
Their desire and passion is to see the body of Christ in Asia, both in the church and marketplace know God as Father and come into the revelation of sonship. Shireen & Francis feel called to open doors for this revelation to go forth in gateway cities and nations such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei, China and Japan. This has led them to organise Fatherheart conferences and A schools in China, Singapore and Taipei over the past years. Prior to being involved with Fatherheart Ministries, Shireen and Francis were involved in the House of Prayer in Shanghai from 2004-2008.
Shireen’s professional background is that of a pioneer and entrepreneur in the creative, media and business industry. She has been a Producer for the last 20 years where she produced, promoted and organised entertainment, arts and business events all over Asia. She ran her own global production and management company, Shaksfin Asia Pte Ltd from 1999-2005.
She has produced, promoted and toured music concerts and arts events with world-class artists such as Elton John, Mariah Carey, Tuck & Patti, David Copperfield, Hamburg Ballet, Robert Wilson, Gidon Kremer, Berliner Barock Solisten, Japan’s contemporary drumming group, Wadaiko Yamato, Indonesia’s gamelan fusion group Krakatau, staged diplomatic festivals such as the Finnish Festival, Hamburg Festival, Contemporary Music Festival with Ensemble Modern, represented Machold Rare Violins in Asia, among many other projects.
She was also invited as a speaker and moderator at International arts conferences in Australia, Singapore, Taipei and the United States. Most recently, Shireen was part of the pioneering team of a new organisation, the Institute on Asian Consumer Insight headed by brand and marketing guru, Professional Bernd Schmitt from Columbia Business School. She was responsible to create and launch the new website, communication channels as well as produce the Institute’s high profile business event, the Asia Consumer Summit 2012.
Shireen’s heart is to connect with leaders (the “movers and shakers”) in both the business and church circles. She desires to use the skills, experiences and exposure that Father has given her to become a blessing to Fatherheart Ministries by breaking into new grounds and spheres of influence as the Spirit opens the way.
