What is happening in the world right now and what should we do?

Many are looking to words of prophecy to try to make sense of what is happening in this season. This is understandable in uncertain times.

Yet Paul writes “the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets”
When prophecy is influenced by a heart that is touched by condemnation, judgement or a love that is conditional on our performance, then it affects everything we hear from Him and say for Him.

Yet when a prophecy is given and received from a heart set in a foundation of love it will come with a tone and timbre that it is congruent with the heart of God for us.

Without experiencing this love we can hear the words but misinterpret His heart. When we experience the heart of Father we can begin to hear His words from a deeper truth of also knowing His heart. We will begin to understand what He is truly saying to us.

The heart of Jesus was to set us free so that we can arrive at the heart of the Father.

As we receive His love in our hearts it will break down the barriers to hearing from Him and receiving from Him.

For the message of the gospel is not that God will just speak to us but:

That He loves us, (John 3:16)
Will dwell amongst us (2 Cor 6:16)
And that we will be one with Him! (John 17:21)
